Newspaper article on retiring director Tom Swetnam

A long newspaper article covers the career of Tom Swetnam, who is stepping down as Director of the Laboratory of Tree-Ring research (the position he has held for the past fourteen years). Several other researchers pay tribute to his work, particularly the contributions to reconstructing the history of forest fire in the American Southwest and other areas of the world.
