Concentric strips of cloth resembling tree rings.

Tree-rings can tell us stories about a tree’s experiences, from its age to how many droughts it has weathered. Fabrics and textiles have personal significance and memories associated with them.

Learn how to combine both at this unique workshop held at the Laboratory of Tree-Ring Research at the University of Arizona. Participants must sign up in advance for this workshop, held October 22, 2016 from 10 am – 4:30 pm. Participant cost is $50 and lunch is included.

To sign up, call 520-621-0984 or email outreach@ltrr.arizona.edu.
